Founded in 2019 under Dr. E. Sreedharan, Friends of Bharathapuzha (FOB) works to rejuvenate the river through conservation, afforestation, awareness, and sustainable management for future generations.

Prevent Pollution
Ensure that polluted water, human waste, mud, and solid waste do not enter Bharathapuzha.
Catchment Area Afforestation
Replenish the river’s catchment areas through afforestation and other measures to increase water flow.
Restore and Maintain River Flow
Remove river invasions, control sand and vegetation, prevent unnecessary dams, and maintain easy water flow to the Sea.
Community Engagement and Awareness
Involve local residents, governing bodies, and society through continuous awareness programs and coordinated revival efforts.
